Plowing Update - November 20th

Our plow crews have been on the road plowing commercial properties since this morning. They will be starting on residential properties around 2 pm this afternoon, will continue through the evening, and hope to be done by 10 pm (depending on the snowfall).

The snow is very wet and with the warmer weather yesterday, the ground is soft in certain areas, which makes plowing messier. We do our best to be careful, but if the top layer of ground thawed at your property yesterday, it may result in more grass and dirt being plowed. The temperature will be dropping into the single digits on Thursday and Friday night, which will help the ground harden back up.

The roads are slick due to the wet snow and warmer temperatures, drive carefully and stay safe out there!

Plowing Update - November 15th and 16th

2010 building trucks and plows 039.jpg

Snow is on its way and based on current forecasts, there will be enough accumulation to plow. We are monitoring snow for the remainder of today (November 15th) and will begin plowing for our commercial accounts starting at 2:00 am on November 16th. Plowing for residential driveways will begin around 7:00 am on November 16th.

We have been working diligently for the past couple of weeks to prepare our trucks, plows, and sanders for the first big storm. We also spent a lot of time working with clients to confirm services for the 2018-2019 winter.

We feel well prepared for the storm, however this is the first major storm, so it is possible everything may not go as planned. The ground was not fully frozen in many places until this week and this may result in more grass, dirt, gravel, and hard pack being pushed by the plows than ideal. Following this storm we will review our routes, current plans, and issues then fine-tune as needed.

Thank you for your continued support!

Fall Clean-Up Update - 11/15/18

IMG_2821.jpg

This fall has been significantly rainier than normal, which greatly impacted our fall clean-up schedule, and we have been working as quickly as possible on the few (and far between) nice days. If we have not been to your property yet, we have not forgotten you, the weather just has us behind schedule.

With the recent dustings of snow and predicted snowfall tomorrow, there is a chance the ground will be too wet for us to complete all the fall clean-ups. Over the next week we will be reaching out to customers to discuss next steps if we are unable to complete the fall clean-ups.

If you need plowing, sanding, and/or shoveling services this winter, please give us a call at 603.523.4392 and hit “5” to reach Patrick Howard.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, this has been an interesting (and frustrating) fall.
